Financial Literacy

I don't know why it took me so long to find this, but Bankrate.com is running a year-long financial literacy-o-rama. It's great, a very accessible and thorough look at the basics of financial planning and money management. A very good primer, excellent for beginners--I think, when it's finished, this will be something young people can refer to as a way to get acquainted with lots of basic concepts of personal finance.

I'm working my way through your archives, hence the comment 6 months or so after the original post, but I just wanted to say this:

I hate the Bankrate layout. I can NEVER EVER find an article that I want to read again unless I either bookmark it or remember exactly what the title was and search for it using Google specifically for Bankrate.com.

I do have emails sent to me with news alerts and newsletters, but when it comes to actively searching for information, Bankrate.com is NOT my favorite.
